Cambridge Then and Now features vintage photos that date back to the Victorian era, through the twentieth century up until the early 1960s. And while many of the colleges have remained remarkably similar; the cars, the bikes and the fashion on the street has changed a great deal.

| About the Author | Vaughan Grylls is a photographer, author and Cambridge enthusiast. His photography has been exhibited in the major London galleries and he is the acknowledged pioneer of ‘joiner’ photography, assembling a large image out of a myriad of smaller, detailed photos. From 1996 to 2005 Grylls was Chief Executive of the Kent Institute of Art and Design. In 2005 he founded the University for the Creative Arts at Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, Maidstone and Rochester, and serves as Emeritus Professor. |
